Overview

Join us for a meaningful and relaxing Crochet Poppy Brooch Workshop.

After 13.5 years of dedicated service in the Royal Corps of Signals, Coralie was medically discharged in 2013. Later that year, she began creating handcrafted remembrance crochet poppies as a way to honour and commemorate service.

Now, you’re invited to come along and create your own Crochet Poppy Brooch to wear with pride for Remembrance. Spend a calm and enjoyable morning crocheting alongside veteran and designer Coralie, learning how to make this special piece.

£5 from every place booked will be donated to the Blandford British Legion Poppy Appeal.

What to Expect

Choose Your Colour
Select either a traditional red poppy or a purple poppy.

Relaxed, Friendly Atmosphere
Work at your own pace — nothing is rushed. Simply enjoy a peaceful morning learning to crochet your poppy brooch in a supportive setting.

Materials Provided

• All materials are included
• Crochet hooks and yarn
• Darning needles and brooch backs
• A written pattern designed by Coralie

Please note:
Participants should be confident with the following stitches:

Chain stitch
 Slip stitch
Treble crochet
Double crochet

Workshop Details

Cost: £30 per person (3-hour session)

Capacity:

1. 5 participants at Coralie’s Crafts & Gifts.
2. 6 participants at The Hub on The Heath Café
   (Small groups to ensure personal attention)

Additional Information

·       Refreshments are available at both venues (to purchase at The Hub on The Heath Café).

·       Places must be booked in advance.

·       Payment can be made online through this event or in person at our Blandford shop.

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend the workshop please let us know as soon as possible.

We require a minimum of 14 days notice if you wish to cancel your booking so that we can try and resell the workshop place. If we successfully resell your place you will be given a full refund. If we are unable to sell your place then only a 50% refund will be given. No refunds can be made to those who fail to attend a course in full or in part.

You can send someone in your place, if this happens we will need to know their contact details in advance so that arrangements can be made where possible, and confirmation details can be passed on.

By booking and paying for a workshop you are confirming your agreement to these terms.

Coralie's Crafts & Gifts reserves the right to cancel any workshop at short notice. In this event you will be notified as soon as possible and you will be offered a full refund, or you may transfer to an alternative date.
