Handcrafted with love and care, each Purple Crochet Poppy Brooch is a beautiful symbol of remembrance and support. Every poppy is personally crocheted by Coralie, a veteran who served 13.5 years in the army before being medically discharged in 2013. These brooches represent more than just a thoughtful accessory—they are part of Coralie’s journey of healing through crafting.

Each poppy measures approximately 3" x 3" and is made from soft purple wool threaded with a touch of sparkle, ensuring it shines beautifully during remembrance parades. The brooch back is carefully sewn for easy attachment, and every poppy is delivered in its own little box, complete with a card explaining the heartfelt reasons behind its creation.

For each poppy sold, £1.50 is donated to the charity Hounds for Hero's. A wonderful charity that trains support dogs for Ex-Service personnel and the emergency services.

Why the Purple Poppy?

The purple poppy honour's the animals that served and continue to serve in military conflicts. From service dogs to the majestic horses seen in ceremonial parades, these animals played a vital role alongside human soldiers. Having witnessed first hand the bravery of service dogs during two tours in Afghanistan, the creator of these poppies is passionate about raising awareness for the purple poppy and what it symbolizes.
