Remembrance Hexagon Flower Poppy Keyrings - A Symbol of Remembrance and Support
Handcrafted with love and care, each Hexagon Flower Poppy Keyring is a beautiful symbol of remembrance. Every poppy Keyring is made by Coralie, a veteran who served 13.5 years in the army before being medically discharged in 2013. These keyrings represent more than just a thoughtful accessory - they are part of Coralie’s journey of healing through crafting.
Each poppy measures approximately 3" x 3". The poppy is made using a technique called paper piecing patchwork. Fabric is cut out and basted onto ½ inch hexagon card pieces. Once all 7 pieces are basted they are then carefully sewn together to produce the hexagon flower. The owl ribbon is added when sewing on the felt backing, the pieces of card are left in the flower pieces to help keep the keyring firmer. Once that is complete the Keyring is then added and every keyring poppy is delivered in its own little box, complete with a card explaining the heartfelt reasons behind its creation.
For each red and combines poppy keyring is sold, £1.50 is donated to the local British Legion Poppy Appeal in Blandford, helping support veterans and their families.
For each purple poppy keyring sold, £1.50 is donated to the charity Hounds for Hero's. A wonderful charity that trains support dogs for Ex-Service personnel and the emergency services..
These keyrings are more than just a poppy - it's a tribute, a piece of personal therapy, and a contribution to a greater cause. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
